Description
Responsibilities Manage and maintain financial records and ledgers in accordance with accounting principles. Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion of all accounting tasks. Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed. Support financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making and strategy development. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, tracking actual performance against projections. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus. Minimum of 6 months - 1.5 years of experience in financial accounting or a related field, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial information clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
