Your new role

Reporting to the APAC Finance Manager and CFO, you will take ownership of the Australian finance function while partnering with stakeholders across the wider global business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Month-end close, journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliation
• Management of cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes
• Preparation and coordination of BAS, tax and audit requirements
• Maintenance of fixed asset registers and internal controls
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies across finance operations
• Partner with commercial stakeholders and senior leadership across the group

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will be CA or CPA qualified (or very near completion) and experience in a chartered accounting firm will be ideal (Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager level). You will have a proactive and hands on approach with a strong desire to learn, develop and partner with stakeholders.
