While there is rarely a typical day, here’s a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job:

• Supporting the IFRS4 (UK GAAP) accounting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, adhering to working day timetable and reporting standards;
• Responsible for maintaining controls for revaluation, FX analysis and translation of the ledger
• Monitor the alignment for common transactions between IFRS17 & IFRS4 ledgers
• Ensuring the ledger is closed out in a timely manner
• Maintain J-Sox controls
• Audit engagement
• Be an Oracle superuser
• Engage with the wider Syndicate Finance team on how we continue to improve and make the tools available to us meet new reporting requirements.
