DEPARTMENT: Finance REPORTS TO: SVP Finance FSLA Status: Hourly POSITION SUMMARY: Supports SVP Finance in managing the bank’s accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role performs a variety of accounting tasks including account reconciliations, accounts payable processing, journal entries, and audit preparation. The position is integral to maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting the Finance Department’s daily functions. Requirements PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES AND REPSPONSIBILITES: 1. Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of general ledger and internal bank accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and financial integrity. 2. Maintain timely reconciliation of correspondent banking accounts and other key balance sheet items to support accurate financial reporting. 3. Manage accounts payable and corporate credit card processes, including invoice review, payment processing, reconciliation, and documentation in accordance with established policies. 4. Prepare and post monthly accruals, depreciation schedules, and general ledger journal entries in alignment with accounting standards and reporting deadlines. 5. Monitor the organization’s daily cash position, including borrowing line activity, to support effective liquidity management. 6. Reconcile daily IntraFi sweep deposit activity and ensure corresponding general ledger entries are accurate and complete. 7. Assist with audit preparation and regulatory examinations, providing documentation, analysis, and follow-up to maintain a strong system of internal controls. ROLE QUALIFICATIONS: Education · College degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics or equivalent experience Experience · A minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or similar job/training · Or equivalent combination of education and experience Other Skills/Characteristics · Professional · Effective verbal and written communication skills · Ability to deliver a high level of responsiveness to internal customers. · Ability to multi-task and organize priorities. · High computer literacy including Word, Jack Henry, Excel · Maintains confidentiality. · Flexible · Maintain a high level of focus and accuracy. · Strong analytical skills · Ability to work at a fast pace with high accuracy. Performance Measures · Report preparation, under person’s direction, is completely accurate and within time frames necessary.
