Description
Company Description Outpost VFX is a UK-headquartered post-production and VFX studio with operations in London, Bournemouth, Montreal and Mumbai, working on feature film and premium television content for major studios and streamers. The finance function is going through a planned restructure toward a two-pillar model, with reporting and compliance led from Mumbai and commercial finance led from the UK. This role is critical to making that transition work without any dip in reporting, control or audit quality. Job Description The incumbent Financial Accountant is leaving after 7 weeks' notice. A permanent Mumbai-based successor will be recruited in parallel, with an expected onboarding of around 4 to 6 months. This interim role bridges that gap. The successful candidate will absorb handover from the outgoing incumbent, run UK month-end, group consolidation and the year-end audit through the transition, and then hand the role cleanly to the Mumbai-based successor. The right candidate will be hands-on, comfortable working with an offshore team, and willing to document and transfer knowledge as a core part of the job. The Financial Accountant takes handover of UK month-end, group consolidation and statutory reporting from the outgoing incumbent, runs the year-end audit through the transition, and hands over cleanly to a Mumbai-based successor.
