What you'll be doing In conjunction with the Assistant Accountants, oversee the day-to-day financial activities ensuring all financial data is accurate. Consolidation of monthly accounts. Working closely with business unit owners to provide monthly reports and meaningful analysis to drive successful outcomes. Treasury: oversee day-to-day treasury operations and cash position. Implement new processes and systems in the Finance team. Control and compliance: ensure the efficient operation of all accounting reporting systems. Preparation of GST, BAS and FBT returns. Contribute to the production of the Interim and Annual Reports Assist with external accounting and audit staff queries. Prepares cash flow forecasting and forex reconciliations. Prepares grant applications with government agencies. Other duties and project work as required. What you'll bring Success in this role will be attained by an individual who is happy to work in a fluid, ever-evolving environment, whilst always looking for ways to improve processes. You will be pro-active and have excellent verbal and written communication skills whilst being able to build relationships at all levels. Comfortable with Xero and other financial systems Qualified or working towards qualification as a Chartered Accountant 1+ years PQE Strong Excel knowledge Diligent with a strong attention to detail Experience with process improvement and system implementation is preferable.
