About the job

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant to support month-end closing, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, supplier prepayments, audit requirements, and financial process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile financial data and ensure account balances are accurately matched with the trial balance.
• Perform fixed asset reconciliation and ensure the asset register agrees with the trial balance.
• Book and verify invoices accurately.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Reconcile supplier prepayment accounts with the trial balance.
• Ensure timely monthly closing of books.
• Support external auditors and provide required financial documentation.
• Assist the finance team with guidance and training on the GRP financial system, when required.
• Support improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting.
• Share knowledge and support the development of UAE national colleagues.
• Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the line manager.

• RequirementsStrong accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Good understanding of trial balance, month-end closing, fixed assets, inventory, and supplier prepayments.
• Experience supporting external audits.
• Familiarity with ERP / GRP financial systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
