LOCATION: UNTERSCHLEISSHEIM (MUNICH REGION), GERMANY

Position Description: We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant (w/m/d) to join our Munich team. This position reports to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Supervision and monitoring of the bookkeeping processes
  • Monthly closing, submitting monthly finance reports
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and the support in financial audit
  • Preparation of monthly VAT (Value-Add) tax return in DATEV
  • Providing monthly financial analytics for reporting and local managements (such as budget controlling etc.)
  • Provide supports for kinds of financial auditing
  • Support with annual tax application
  • Close cooperation with HQ finance in China and other factory finance

FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES ARE EXPECTED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Completed vocational training or university degree in business
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in the financial sector
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), experience with ERP system
  • Familiar with operation of DATEV system
  • Knowledge of financial statements according to HGB
  • Open-minded, flexible, responsible, very accurate
  • Independent and strategic working style, solution-oriented thinking
  • Good communicator with intercultural skills (experience with the Chinese business culture would be a plus)
  • German and English language skills in speaking and writing
