KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Financial management Operational procurement and stock management Asset management Contract and supportive services management Risk management Lead and manage the people in the team REQUIRED EDUCATION ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:  Degree or equivalent qualification within financial,  business, or accounting. DESIRED EDUCATION:  Accountant  or Chartered Accountant REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:  5 years of financial experience.  3-5 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory position. DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years financial administration manager experience within the hospital/healthcare industry. REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Contract and service level agreement (SLA) management Cost Control (including petty cash; etc.) Financial management (financial statement interpretation; budgeting and financial planning; Return on Investment; etc.) Financial risk management Project Management Relevant statutory and legislative guidelines and requirements SAP All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
