Description

Snow Queen Winter Management, one of Vancouver’s largest winter service providers, and its sister companies are jointly seeking a Financial Administrator with experience to join our team.
We are a fast-moving organization that is committed to having an accessible, diverse, inclusive, and barrier-free work environment where everyone can reach their full potential.
This is a contracted position that provides some flexibility and can be done remotely with the exception of weekly in-person meetings at our Tri-City office and cheque pick up and deposit duties. It is expected that you will be in office at least 2 days (From September - June) a week, while the rest can be done remotely.
Hours are estimated and will vary depending on the time of year (accounting cycles) and winter storms (customer invoicing & contractor payouts). From November to April we are estimating 30 - 60 hours per week and from May to October 10 - 15 hours per week, which averages out to approx. 25-30 hours per week on an annual basis.
Pay Rate: Starts at $26 per hour based on experience.

  • Using QuickBooks Online, G-Suite, MS Excel, MS Word
  • Using CRM & Project Management Software (Hubspot & Basecamp)
  • Using Direct Deposit Systems (RBC Express)
  • Working with C-Level Executives at a Start-Up or Developing Company
  • Trades Industry
  • Bookkeeping & Accounting
    Candidate must be willing to learn how to use our proprietary software, be flexible in their availability and responsive to tasks and their team’s needs as they arise. This may require sporadic availability for meetings along with weekend and after-hours work, including public holidays (particularly around snow storms). As a contractor the candidate will be responsible for managing their time and ensuring they are available and fulfilling their duties throughout the year as required.
