Our Deals professionals work side-by-side with senior members of our clients’ teams to create tangible and sustainable value from their M&A transactions. Our Deals - Transaction Services team is at the core of our Deals practice focusing on (a) Buy-side and Sell-side Financial / Business Due Diligence services, (b) advising clients in their negotiations on the financial aspects of Share Purchase Agreements and (c) special purpose assignments (e.g. Deal analytics and data driven insights, Vendor Assistance etc.).
Our team is involved in the highest profile M&A transactions in Romania covering a wide range of Industries including Energy, Infrastructure, Telecoms and Technology, Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharma and Healthcare, Retail, Real Estate and Services (Hospitality, Software development, Logistics etc.).
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Finance or accounting professionals with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Accounting knowledge (Romanian Accounting Standards); IFRS knowledge would be a plus.
- Ability to analyze both financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions.
- Being an ACCA student is a plus.
- Computer literacy (Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills); familiarity with Power Tools and Alteryx will be a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication in English.
- Good analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Structured and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial analyses related to Income Statement and Balance Sheet, including adjusted schedules in the context of a transaction - EBITDA, Net Working Capital, Net Debt/Net Cash; you will use a broad range of tools and techniques for data processing, extract insights and perform analyses to show relevant trends and conclusions.
- Review other business-related information (management reports, commercial contracts, financial agreements etc).
- Write sections from due diligence reports, depending on allocation received from project manager.
- Work with other PwC lines of business (tax specialists, lawyers and others) to deliver integrated services to our clients and exchange relevant information.
- Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information.
- Use straightforward communication, in a structured way.
- Propose innovative solutions to problems with the aim to stay relevant and efficient.
