Overview WHO are we looking for? CAPTRUST is seeking a results-driven Financial Planner to provide exceptional service to our wealth advisory team. The successful candidate will join an established team, delivering independent advice and tailored solutions to clients. Responsibilities Collect and organize the necessary data and input from Financial Advisors, Relationship Managers, Consultants and clients to develop a financial plan Collaborate with the Financial Advisors and their clients to determine the clients’ financial objectives, tax status, risk tolerance, insurance coverage or other information needed to develop a financial plan Work with clients’ CPAs, attorneys and other professional advisors as required Interact directly with Financial Advisors, Relationship Managers, Consultants and other team members to ensure the quality and timeliness of projects Prepare financial reports for meetings, which may include preparation of cash-flow analysis, education funding analysis, survivor needs analysis and other estate and non-estate planning related issues Present the Financial Plan to the Financial Advisors and clients, or both Update information in the CRM (CAPConnect) Develop new client proposals and/or meet with new or prospective clients to introduce the planning process Contribute to special projects as needed Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant financial services wealth management experience Bachelor’s degree Desired Qualifications/Skills: Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred Solid analytical and quantitative skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and to prioritize multiple tasks; excellent time-management skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Knowledge of eMoney and MoneyGuide Pro are a plus WHAT can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST?
