Description
Description Our partner, DesignWealth, a growing advisory firm in the Denver area, a growth-oriented Financial Advisor who thrives on prospecting, presenting, and converting new client relationships—while guiding people with clarity, integrity, and purpose. This role is for someone who enjoys owning the front end of the client journey: initiating conversations, leading discovery, presenting solutions, and earning trust through education—not pressure. Success is measured by activity, conversion, and consistent execution, paired with a genuine commitment to helping clients understand their options and stay in control of their financial decisions. This is not a service-only or portfolio-management role. Advisory knowledge matters, but impact starts with disciplined sales execution and the ability to confidently guide prospects through meaningful financial conversations. What You’ll Do Sales & Growth (Primary Focus) Prospect, engage, and convert new client relationships through a structured, repeatable sales process Lead discovery meetings and consultative sales conversations with prospective clients Present in one-on-one and group settings, including educational classes and workshops Build and manage a sales pipeline with clear accountability to activity, conversion, and outcomes Progress toward independently owning marketing, prospecting, and closing responsibilities Advisor Development (Evolving Responsibility) Learn and apply Design Wealth’s comprehensive planning philosophy and client experience Partner with senior Advisors to support onboarding and long-term client success Continue developing planning expertise as your book of business grows Firm Contribution Actively participate in coaching, feedback, and performance reviews Represent Design Wealth professionally in the community and with prospective clients Contribute to a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement Benefits and Compensation: Competitive Salary + Commission Full benefit package including health benefits and 401k Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred (finance or business helpful, not required) Proven sales experience required; advisory experience is a plus Series 65 and/or CFP® (or willingness to obtain required licenses) Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills High integrity and commitment to acting in the client’s best interest Who Will Thrive in This Role You’re likely a strong fit if you: Have 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition Are comfortable with phone-based outreach, in-person meetings, and public speaking Are energized by goals, metrics, and performance-based compensation Value coaching, structure, and executing a proven process Want to build something scalable—not just manage existing relationships This Role Is Not a Fit If You: Prefer service-only, account maintenance, or portfolio management work Are uncomfortable with prospecting or closing conversations Seek a capped income or primarily guaranteed compensation Resist coaching or accountability to measurable outcomes Why Design Wealth Entrepreneurial advisory firm with a clear vision and proven growth systems Structured sales and marketing support—you’re not building alone Hands-on mentorship from experienced advisors A performance-driven culture focused on growth, execution, and client impact
