FINANCIAL ADVISOR – KILKENNY CITY

Our client, who provides financial advisory solutions is renowned for fostering long-term relationships with clients. They are seeking to hire a qualified financial advisor to join their team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • QFA designation (Qualified Financial Advisor) is required.
  • Experience in a similar role (6+ years)
  • Additional qualifications such as CFP®, RPA, or similar are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, retirement planning, investments, and protection products.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Track record of working with high-net-worth clients and achieving sales success.
  • Strong knowledge of investment and pension products, including technical specifications and relevant tax regulations.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., BIS System) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to meet performance targets.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Must maintain up-to-date CPD records.
  • Subject to Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity Regime compliance.
  • Potential requirement to complete a sales, financial planning, or industry knowledge demonstration during recruitment.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed financial assessments to understand clients’ financial situations and goals.
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual client needs (e.g., retirement planning, investment management, tax strategies, estate planning).
  • Provide ongoing financial advice and adjust plans based on changes in client circumstances or goals.
  • Educate clients on financial topics such as market trends, investment options, and risk management.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and trust.
  • Collaborate with other financial professionals to deliver integrated financial solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver financial presentations to individuals and groups.
  • Conduct client meetings both online and in person.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations, market developments, and best practices.
