We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advisory Manager to lead and manage our diverse portfolio of advisory services across the GCC region. The role involves overseeing Financial Accounting and Transaction Advisory Services, managing complex client engagements, and driving strategic business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and a business-oriented mindset, with a willingness to travel regionally to support clients and projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professionally qualified CA/ACCA.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in advisory roles with exposure to IFRS, external audits, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in the audit and advisory departments of Big 4 firms is mandatory.
  • Proven success in managing multiple client engagements and building strong client relationships.
  • Experience working across the GCC region, with a willingness and ability to travel as required for client engagements

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong aptitude for financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Advisory Services

  • Manage and deliver high-quality advisory projects across the GCC, ensuring timely execution and alignment with client expectations.
  • Lead due diligence and valuation assignments for mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring, assessing financial performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide strategic advice on deal structuring and oversee post-merger integration processes.
  • Ensure IFRS compliance and implementation for client projects, addressing complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and consolidations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards, with demonstrated expertise in ECL modeling and hedging strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive feasibility studies and financial models to evaluate project viability and guide decision-making.

Business Development

  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to expand the firm’s advisory portfolio across the GCC region.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to drive repeat engagements and new collaborations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business.
  • Monitor industry trends to identify service innovation opportunities and strengthen the firm’s regional market presence.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and coach regional team members, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Effectively allocate resources to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Design and conduct training programs to enhance the team’s expertise in technical and advisory skills.
