Financial Aid Advisor   About The Job  Fortis Institute - Towson is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Administrator for its Financial Aid Department.  If you possess a desire to help others succeed, this is an opportunity for you to positively impact the lives and careers of our students and graduates.    Fortis Institute provides educational programs that deliver essential career skills in high-demand occupations that lead to employment upon graduation and a lifetime of professional growth.    Job Description  We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to be a part of the Financial Aid team. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Director of Financial Aid. This position requires some evening and Saturday hours.     The Financial Aid Administrator provides high-level customer service at all times to prospective students and students regarding the financial aid process. Assists with gathering information on potential students to ensure a trouble-free student financial aid and processing system; presents initial financial aid package, and performs routine clerical, office, and data entry tasks. Adheres to established company and department policies and procedures, and maintains excellent customer service standards in accordance with the mission and purpose of the organization.  Requirements   * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  * Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven  * Must not have any National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) restrictions.  * 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.  * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
