Job Summary
A Brief Overview
Reporting to the Associate Registrar (AR), Enrolment Services and Administration, the incumbent oversees many administrative processes associated with the various aspects of the Financial Aid and Awards office. This position provides subject matter expertise and advice on specific financial aid programs and supports the approval and implementation process for new awards, bursaries and scholarships. Responsible for supporting the work of the Donor Experience division of Advancement, the incumbent will provide meeting, event planning, and recruitment activity support as well as assisting Financial Aid and Awards to develop, streamline, and implement policies and procedures. The incumbent will oversee projects, recommend changes, research best practices and support the AR in improving and evolving existing financial aid programs.
This position provides administrative and planning assistance to senior staff to support operations. This position coordinates meetings, special events, and appointments, assembles and prepares critical information for meetings, and follows up as required. This position coordinates schedules of senior staff, and determines relative priorities to ensure urgent/sensitive matters receive immediate attention. This positions also analyzes data, and prepares reports and statistics. This position directs, allocates, and supervises the work of other staff.
Job Description

Creates and/or maintains a variety of databases. Performs analysis, and prepares reports and statistics.

Collects and prepares documentation, and maintains files for renewal, tenure and promotion, term adjuncts, post-doctoral fellows, visiting scholars, and casual staff.

Directs, allocates, and supervises the work of other staff.

Assists set up of endowment and expendable trust accounts with donors and Advancement.

Prepares and maintains thank-you letter inventory for donors.
