Join the Card Acquisition Costing team for an exciting opportunity to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams are responsible for a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of regular management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities, and advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies.  As a Financial Analyst within the Marketing Expense Finance Team, you will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data as well as prepare reports, while always thinking of and devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvement. You will also help develop recommendations affecting business procedures and operations and maintain financial and reporting systems. In addition, you will assist the department and other team members with special projects or components of other projects as needed. Job responsibilities * Build strong working relationships with business partners and provide card acquisition expense metrics through monthly/quarterly reporting, project support, and ad hoc analyses that deliver insight into card product acquisition expense performance. * Responsible for IRF/budget card acquisition expense forecasting; perform variance and analyses of actuals versus forecast, identifying risks and opportunities. * Develop and track key acquisition expense metrics and provide financial analysis for senior management to assist with strategic decision-making.  * Support new acquisition offer development driving strategic value. * Design new reports, dashboards, Alteryx workflows to efficiently deliver on time and accurate work product.  * Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.   Required qualifications, capabilities and skills * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature * 4+ years of work experience in Accounting, Finance, Planning & Analysis or Business Management * Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint * Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets * Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly * Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management * Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments with often little lead time or information * Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams * Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills and ability to able to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines * Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely   Additional Information To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
