JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team.
The Financial Analyst plays a critical part in supporting the financial reporting process by ensuring compliance with audit requirements and facilitating the preparation and execution of external audits. This individual must demonstrate strong analytical skills and possess a solid understanding of financial reporting standards in accordance with GAAP. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will collaborate across various teams to meet audit and financial reporting deadlines.

EDUCATION

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
· Actively working towards a CPA designation.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably in a company subject to external audits.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and external audit processes.
· Proficiency in MS Office 365.
· Experience with ERP systems and QuickBooks is considered an asset.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
