Description:

Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst for a Temporary role located in Ajax, ON. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing information analysis and recommendations to managers, supporting both strategic and tactical initiatives. Additionally, responsibilities include the meticulous preparation of forecasts and the thorough review and interpretation of company performance against agreed budget objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).   • Pay rate: $27-$30/hour.
  • Location: Ajax, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities: As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly financial reports.
  • Tracking expenses and revenues, comparing them against the budget.
  • Reforecasting budget when necessary and analyzing causes of fluctuations.
  • Evaluating profit and cost efficiencies across various areas of the Company.
  • Analyzing costs and communicating findings to Managers.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models as needed.
  • Assisting in the budget and reforecast processes.
  • Supporting audits.
  • Suggesting cost improvement programs and assisting with implementation.
  • Providing guidelines and methodology for accounting operations.
  • Developing competence through structured work assignments.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis.
