Responsibilities
  • Act as finance business partner in cost analysis / forecasting for various departments.
  • Assist with cost reporting and preparation of monthly dashboards for senior management.
  • Assist in ad hoc analysis as required by the minesite.
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets.
  • Support timely month-end close process such as preparing and posting journal entries, preparing and posting various allocations etc.;
  • Monitor results of cost reduction programs (e.g. Six Sigma, Business optimisation initiatives).
  • Assist with documentation & enhancement of internal controls under the SOX framework;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies;
  • Participate in special projects, when required, including implementing new ERP, accounting policies and other projects
