ManpowerGroup has an exciting new opportunity at our corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, WI for a Financial Analyst! This position supports the global technical accounting function by assisting with technical research, analysis, and communication of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting policies. The role helps support global reporting units’ financial accounting teams and contributes to the preparation of the Company’s consolidated financial reporting activities. This role provides broad exposure to complex technical accounting topics, global operations, and SEC public company reporting. The position offers close mentorship from senior technical accounting professionals and opportunities to develop deep U.S. GAAP expertise and long-term career growth within the finance organization here at ManpowerGroup. Making an Impact: Support global lease accounting as the CoStar administrator. Assist with research and analysis for complex accounting areas such as goodwill, derivatives, stock-based compensation, defined pension plans, and foreign currency matters. Research technical guidance and summarize conclusions for review . Review new accounting and reporting standards and assist in communicating the new accounting standards to our subsidiaries across the globe to ensure their proper application. Support development, maintenance and communication of the Company’s financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current U.S. GAAP and any upcoming changes to U.S. GAAP. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings and disclosures including footnotes. Assist with the external and internal/SOX audit process and help ensure compliance. Other Details: This position has exposure to our teams across the globe, as well as key leadership team members. Ability to communicate effectively, and professionally, is especially important. Success Measures: Delivers accurate analyses and calculations that meet internal quality standards. Meets monthly and quarterly close and filing timelines. Demonstrates increasing independence and technical proficiency over time. Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (accounting preferred). 1-3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting (public accounting or corporate), including internship. Knowledge and interest in accounting topics and US GAAP, and ability to research and synthesize information. Strong research, analytical and writing skills. Nice to Have: CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification. Exposure to technical accounting research. Experience with consolidation systems (FCC or similar). Public accounting internship.
