About the role We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to support our FP&A capability and deliver meaningful insights that drive business performance and strategic decision‑making. In this role, you will partner closely with the finance team and key stakeholders to support forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting, and the development of financial models and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to senior leaders. The role combines finance, data analytics and business intelligence to deliver clear, actionable insights, and will increasingly leverage advanced analytics and AI‑enabled tools to enhance forecasting, reporting, and decision support. Responsibilities also include supporting the reporting and forecasting of volumes, trends and key financial metrics, and communicating these insights effectively to the business. The role requires strong collaboration across teams and the ability to present financial information in a clear and engaging way that supports informed decision-making. Location: Our Support Office at 1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland Hours: 40 hours per week What we’re looking for Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. At least 5 years’ experience within a similar role with data and analytics responsibilities. Experience or exposure to AI‑enabled analytics, automation, or advanced analytical techniques within finance or reporting environments is beneficial. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, complex formulas) Strong experience in Power BI for dashboard and report development Strong SQL skills for data extraction and reporting Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamic 365, SAP or Xero Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Curiosity and a continuous‑improvement mindset, with a willingness to explore new tools and approaches to improve insight and efficiency. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and confidently to senior leaders. Experience of working successfully with people across business groups to achieve clear outcomes. Proven attention to detail.
