Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our client´s finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information. A key function of this role will be the reconciliation of grants.

REQUIREMENTS AND NECESSARY SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of grant management and reconciliation is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Grant Reconciliations: Perform detailed reconciliations of grants to ensure compliance with funding requirements.

  • Report Preparation: Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement in financial operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making.
