Canlan Sports is currently looking for a Financial Analyst.
Rate of Pay: $59,000 - $65,000 per year.

JOB SUMMARY:

Full-time permanent position. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. The financial analyst will be accountable for providing the Canlan Team members with information collected from multiple sources in a clear, concise, and straightforward manner. The financial analyst will collect and report on information for all business units, with emphasis on marketing and operations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Data mining expert in financial and CRM platforms such as Daysmart, Sage 300, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Salesforce
  • Accuracy of data being collected for use in reports and analysis
  • Create modeling and tools to report on business performance and activitiesDevelopment of methods to better automate the extraction of data or the population of reports with data extracted

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary degree in Business or related field
  • Enrolled in, or completed, the CPA/CFA program an asset
  • 1 - 2 years of business experience in FP&A

ABILITIES, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced or Expert level knowledge and hands on experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is required
  • Knowledge of Workday, Adaptive Planning or similar FP&A software is required
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this position
  • Ability to translate data from multiple sources into clear, concise information for business use
  • Ability to learn different software platforms quickly
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective time management and workload efficiency skills
