BASIC FUNCTION:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data and creating financial models for management to make solid financial decisions. This position will also provide support to the CVS corporate accounting department in their current processes. The Financial Analyst will report to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Accounting software applications a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI a plus
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Identify and drive process improvements & develop automated reporting tools
• Assist in monthly accounting transactions
• Assist in month end statement processing and reporting
• Oversee, manages, and implements projects as assigned
• Provides reports to members of management as requested
• Assists other team members in the accounting department as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned
