The Financial Analysis are responsible for managing the hospital’s financial analysis activities, collection information related to financial performance and consolidating it into complex reports. In charge of actively contribute to organizational financial decisions based on their expertise. Interpret raw financial data to recommend changed to business processes. The Financial Analysis also builds financial models to analyze possible business changes.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Must have 2+ years of Healthcare experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools and and database software
  • Healthcare experience highly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares financial and statistical analysis for hospital and departments.
  • Accumulates and reports on various financial and volume key indicators.
  • Participates in monthly and annual financial statement process.
  • Reconciles balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Prepares Pro forma for existing and anticipated service lines and procedures.
  • Participates in the review and establishment of charge item prices.
  • Performs monthly and ad-hoc review/analysis of hospital and physician receivables.
  • Participates accumulation of information for interim/annual cost report cost reports.
  • Develops and participates in productivity standards in conjunction with budgets.
  • Supports the finance department with budgeting, financial reporting, and capital budgets.
  • Compares actual results to benchmarks, analyzing and reporting on results.
  • Oversee and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual budget preparation and evaluation
  • Supervise and communicate ad-hoc analyses for special projects and executive requests
  • Review forecasts from other departments and create bridge plans
  • Direct forecasting and goal-setting efforts for financial plans
  • Other duties as assigned
