EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor degree in Accounting and finance and either possessing a Professional accounting designation or actively working towards this designation.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

  • 5+ years financial / costing analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong project management skills (methodical and detail oriented)

Responsibilities

Process Improvement:

  • Establish and measure procedures, business practices, and systems utilization at the operations level.

Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Prepare and communicate weekly forecasts.
  • Analyze COGS, scrap, rework, and journal entries on monthly basis.
  • Conduct product profitability analysis on monthly basis.

Budgeting:

  • Support the preparation of annual budgets at the operations level.
  • Standard Costing Review:
  • Collaborate with the Process Engineering department to review standard costing methodologies and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Variance Analysis:

  • Perform variance analysis for inventory, COGS, PPV, and plant efficiencies on monthly basis.

Cost Behavior Analysis:

  • Prepare variance analysis to flex budgets and understand cost behaviors at the plant.

Expense Analysis:

  • Analyze monthly expenses.

Cost Management:

  • Perform cost rolls and inventory analysis.
  • Participate in inventory management from a cost and accounting perspective.

Capital Expenditure Planning:

  • Prepare capital expenditure assessments and plans.

Inventory Provisioning:

  • Calculate monthly provisions for slow-moving and obsolete inventory.

Program Management:

  • Manage and report on the COP program.
  • Chair or co-chair routine COP program team meetings.

Audit Assistance:

  • Assist in external audits.

Project Leadership:

  • Lead various monthly and periodic reporting projects.

Management Systems Adherence:

  • Adhere to all management systems, including Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in a minimum of one DTMS, COP, or Team Lean event annually.
