About DrAnsay

DrAnsay was founded in 2018 and is now one of the leading digital health platforms in Germany. As a digital health tech company, we connect patients, doctors, and pharmacies, developing technological solutions that make healthcare simpler, faster, and more accessible. More than 1 million patients already use our platform. Our goal is clear: to design digital medicine so that it truly works in everyday life.

We work quickly, directly, and with a high degree of personal responsibility. Anyone who joins us takes responsibility for their area and ensures that it functions reliably.

Why this role exists

DrAnsay is professionalizing its finance function and aligning it for the next growth phase. This includes ensuring that financial figures are reliable, consistent, and transparent for everyone. Currently, no one is clearly responsible for this: the preparation and reconciliation of commercial figures between the accounting and data teams is something that has been done on an ad-hoc basis.

This position is newly created to fill this gap. While our Head of Finance builds the accounting and finance structures, you will ensure that the figures are accurate, consistent, and understandable on the data side.

This is not a planning or strategy role. You work directly with the data and make existing processes reliable, instead of redesigning them from scratch.

Your role

You are responsible for financial data at DrAnsay: from reconciling invoices and orders to preparing them for accounting and managing the central financial dashboards. You are the contact person for all sales and other financial data.

Your goal in the coming months is to take over the processes that are currently run ad hoc and make them reliable: a clean reconciliation of invoices and orders, data that accounting can work with without queries, and dashboards that everyone refers to.

It's equally important to us that you understand the numbers and don't just process them. You notice when something isn't plausible and clarify it with accounting and data engineers before proceeding.

You will report directly to our Head of Data and be part of the data team. You will work closely with the accounting department, our data engineers, and the Head of Finance.

If you have knowledge of SQL or Python, you can further automate many processes. This is an option, not a requirement.

What you do specifically

  • Link invoices to orders and check whether sales, payment and accounting data match.
  • Prepare and clean historical financial data and make it available to the accounting department so that they can work with it directly.
  • Adopting existing processes, understanding them and making them more reliable, even where they are not yet fully documented.
  • Process and clearly visualize controlling data
  • Build and further develop central financial and business dashboards
  • Create ad-hoc analyses of revenue and other commercial key figures
  • Working with our data engineers on data quality, definitions and data sources
  • To support the accounting department in using and interpreting data correctly.

Job requirements

You need this

  • Very strong practical Excel skills: You have already linked, compared and cleaned large amounts of data, for example using XLOOKUP, pivot tables or Power Query.
  • Approximately two to three years of professional experience, for example in auditing, controlling or as an analyst, where you have regularly worked with financial or controlling data"
  • Experience in preparing financial or controlling data so that others can work with it
  • Business acumen: You know the difference between revenue and cash flow and can tell when a number is implausible.
  • You work independently and can also find your way around processes that are not fully described.
  • Openness to technical topics and AI-supported working methods
  • German at C2 level, because you will be working with German-language financial and accounting data, as well as good English skills for teamwork.
  • The willingness to complete even recurring tasks thoroughly and reliably. The role depends on the numbers adding up every month.

This is a positive point.

  • SQL or Python knowledge, even at a basic level.
  • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker
  • Experience in auditing, ideally at a Big Four firm, or in accounting, for example with reconciliations, document reviews or data analysis.
  • Experience in a start-up or e-commerce company, ideally with order and payment data
  • A degree in economics

What we offer

  • Full-time and permanent position, starting from November 2026
  • 100% Remote: You work from Germany, without being tied to a specific location.
  • A clearly defined role: The Head of Finance is responsible for building the finance organization; you ensure that the numbers add up.
  • You work on the numbers of a company instead of on changing client engagements, thereby expanding your experience with BI and data work."
  • Regular communication with the data team and accounting department, as well as a handover of existing processes by the team that currently supports her.
  • Small team with short communication channels, a low-ego culture, and direct feedback.
  • A product with real benefits: Every day we help people access healthcare more easily.

How to apply

Apply directly via the application form. No cover letter is required; we'll ask you a few short questions to help us understand your work style. These answers are more important to us than your LinkedIn profile.

  • You will hear from us within five working days.
