We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Brampton, Ontario. You will be working closely with various cross functional business partners across the organization to support various accounting tasks and initiatives to help ensure company financials are reported in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. You will be responsible for managing month end close processes, performing Balance Sheet reconciliations. and supporting monthly internal financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. CPA certification or enrollment in a CPA program is preferred.
  • Strong Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with Great Plains accounting software an asset.
  • Proficiency with other MS Office Suite programs (PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Strong business acumen and Accounting process understanding.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage constraints and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated success at building relationships and collaborating with a network of internal and external colleagues and subject matter experts.
