A growing manufacturer and distributor of building products located in Norwalk, CT is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support its financial planning, reporting, and operational performance efforts.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced small business environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. The company is onsite five days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or budgeting
• Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Power Query)
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, NetSuite) preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and discretion with sensitive data

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting across departments
• Develop financial models for business planning and investment analysis
• Monitor financial performance vs. budgets and forecasts
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and assess project financial impacts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance tasks
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Provide general administrative support as needed
