Ferguson has an exciting opportunity for an Financial Analyst! This role will provide data driven analysis and support the Finance organization and leaders in the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems or similar discipline.
  • 3+ years of analytical experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (PowerPivot, Power Query).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to visualize financial data using Excel and Power BI
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in month-end financial close
  • Analyze monthly financial results and record necessary accruals and adjusting entries
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including cash/bank statements
  • Learn other processes such as billing and cash receipts in order to act as a backup
  • Assist with conversion to new ERP system
  • Collaborate with Ferguson Corporate finance personnel
  • Assist with remittance of Union related invoices
