EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Commerce, Finance and/or Accounting.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in Residential property management preferred.
  • 2+ years experience, preferably as a financial or project analyst.
  • Ability to perform analysis and present information with clear conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Power Platform – eg. Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate.
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver monthly cost analysis as it relates to operations, marketing, and leasing departments.
  • Develop, track & interpret KPIs to give a clear understanding of departmental performance.
  • Provide variance analysis to departmental actual results compared to budgets.
  • Proactively identify and recommend process improvements, cost saving opportunities.
  • Assist with new project business case analysis and ROI calculations on post implementation.
  • Contribute ideas and participate in development projects to enhance revenue or reduce costs.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as needed.
