1 YEAR CONTRACT – IMMEDIATE START

Division : HSE
Optimize Recruitment are partnering with HSE Dublin and South East region who provide services in a non-acute hospital setting, delivered as close as possible to people’s homes at the right time, in the right place, by the right team.
There are 70 Primary Care Centres in the Region and specialist teams working in Mental Health, Health and Wellbeing, Social Care and Disability Services.
This role reports to the Regional Director of Finance.

Purpose of this role is:

  • To consolidate monthly accounts
  • Liaise with National and Regional Finance Colleagues
  • Remapping of Corporate staffing, budgets and costs across various financial and HR systems.
  • Ensure appropriate payroll / agency staff controls are in place.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Finance, duties will include:

  • Consolidation of monthly management accounts for reporting to Senior Management
  • Manage the Regional Corporate Cost centre including accruals posting
  • Support the assessment and improvement of controls
  • Assist with internal & external audit liaison and follow up on the implementation of recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and revenue requirements
  • Maintenance of Financial Risk Register
  • Utilise technology to enable automation of existing processes to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards possible
  • Liaise with other Finance personnel as appropriate

Requirements for the role:

  • Membership or in the process of gaining membership of a
  • recognised or prescribed accountancy body such as ACCA, CPA,ACMA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
  • Experience working in a busy Finance department
  • An ability to embrace and promote change, improve efficiencies where appropriate translating that usage into the production of management information. Full job description available upon application.
