Title: Financial Analyst
Status: Permanent, Full-time
Location: St Jacques, QC (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create and produce management reports for senior management;
  • Continuously optimize and automate financial processes and reports;
  • Implement internal control procedures, improve existing procedures and automate;
  • Update financial and cashflow projections on a monthly basis;
  • Preparation of interim and year-end audit files;
  • Follow-up of various tax files (Canada & USA);
  • Follow-up of government rebates;
  • Support for consolidation process;
  • Follow-up of fixed asset schedules;
  • Follow-up on investments;
  • Analyze certain items in monthly results, explaining and summarizing variances. Formulate recommendations and follow-up points;
  • Analyze certain balance sheet items, explain and summarize variances. Formulate recommendations and follow-up points;
  • Ensure uniform application of accounting methods within the various companies (Canada, USA, Mexico);
  • Inter-company transfer pricing management;
  • Support the Controller and CFO in various projects;
  • Support the team in all other accounting functions;
  • All other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
  • CPA or equivalent designation
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience;
  • Experience in manufacturing industry (asset);
  • Experience in an accounting firm (asset);
  • Proficiency in Excel at advanced level;
  • Mastery of a BI manager, such as Power BI and ERP;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
