We are hiring a Financial Analyst at Hologic! This position joins an important and key part of the Hologic finance organization that provides financial analysis and decision support to the Diagnostics division and management teams. Responsibilities include all necessary financial models, forecasting, reporting, business analyses and other projects to ensure that management teams are making sound financial decisions. The Diagnostics finance team is highly engaged and passionate in delivering critical business insights and information to their business partners. Duties and Responsibilities: * Collaboration: Work with business partners to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. * Trend Analysis: Analyze current and historical trends for key performance measurements, identify opportunities for financial improvement, and provide actionable insights and recommendations. * Business Systems: Apply knowledge of business systems and processes and leverage best practices when working with business partners to solve business issues. * Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reporting packages, including standard reports and variance commentary. * Presentations: Lead and support executive-level presentations and reports, including significant exposure to and engagement with VP-level business partners. Advise key business partners by providing robust financial data, interpretation and analysis needed to make informed business decisions. * Automation: Increase the use of reporting tools and automation across the organization to develop, streamline and improve new and existing management reports. * Financial Modeling: Provide financial modeling, financial analysis, and ad-hoc projects as required. * Communication: Ability to communicate risks and opportunities to key leadership, identify trends, and be a proactive planner who can execute in a fast-paced environment. * Leadership Opportunity: Opportunity to be a finance leader responsible for modeling business cases on product development and presenting impact to key decision-makers. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * On-site: 5 days a week at our San Diego Office in San Diego, CA. * Motivation: Highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Business Partnering: Superior business partnering skills and building solid working relationships, with the ability to work with business leaders and finance colleagues in a fluid manner. Experience working with VP-level leadership is preferred. * Analytical Tools: Develop models and analytical tools, processes, and systems to gain a deeper understanding of the data and trends driving the business and supporting the Company’s overall growth strategy. * Accounting Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and financial modeling measures, with a strong accounting skill set or relevant accounting experience. * Action-Oriented: Bias for action and a demonstrated track record for delivering results in a fast-paced and changing environment. * Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the organization. * Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. * Learning Mindset: Commitment to learning and growth mindset. * Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Power BI skill set is preferred. * ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems and planning tools (Oracle and Hyperion preferred). Required Education and Experience: * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 1 - 3 years of professional financial experience  The annualized base salary range for this role is $71,000 to $105,700 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand. Why Hologic?
