OBJECTIVE: Reporting to the Director, Treasury & Planning, the Financial Analyst provides essential support to a dynamic, growing team and organization. The successful candidate collaborates with numerous functional areas to provide a wide range of impactful support to various business units. RESPONSIBILITIES: › Participate actively in the accounting activities › Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, and variance reporting › Mapp Budget with financial statements › Analyze the variance from month to month between actuals and budget › Building meaningful dashboards › Prepare and enter month-end/year-end entries › Assist on audit requirements › Assist Manager in his tasks › Participate on special projects › Engage with various departments to provide support REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: › Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field › Experience working in an accounting firm an asset › CPA / MBA designation, an asset › 5 to 7 years of pertinent work experience › Strong technical skills using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products › Preferable working experience with reporting tools such as Power BI › Strong analytical and critical thinking skills › Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines › Bilingual (written and verbal) a must Joseph Ribkoff is an equal opportunity at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation or national origin.
