QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Finance and Economics.
  • 1-2 years of relevant finance experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP is considered an asset).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
  • Calculate commissions based on sales performance, ensuring adherence to company compensation and commission structures.
  • Verify the accuracy of sales data and commissionable transactions, including proper handling of discounts, returns, and cost adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to resolve any commission-related inquiries or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and file tax returns for the company in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage the Moneris account, including monitoring the credit card transactions and perform reconciliations.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare other ad-hoc reports and special projects as needed.
