Job Description

  • Building sophisticated financial models for photovoltaic energy projects
  • Support Investment Team in the negotiation and execution of M&A, funds raising, project finance, and sale processes
  • Analyse Investment opportunities against company pre-defined criteria
  • Supporting the preparation of offer/bids and term sheets (project financing, SPA, etc…)
  • Assessing electricity market trends and their impact on expected profitability at project/portfolio level
  • Analyse energy offtake structures and make recommendations on the most adequate option for specific projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, industrial engineering, or a similar field
  • MBA or Masters is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in finance within the solar energy sector
  • Strong cash flow modelling capabilities required
  • Knowledge of electricity market/regulations and financing infrastructure advantageous
  • Good MS Office Excel and macro-programming skills (Visual Basic programming is a plus)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical skills, structural thinking, willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus
