Job Description
- Building sophisticated financial models for photovoltaic energy projects
- Support Investment Team in the negotiation and execution of M&A, funds raising, project finance, and sale processes
- Analyse Investment opportunities against company pre-defined criteria
- Supporting the preparation of offer/bids and term sheets (project financing, SPA, etc…)
- Assessing electricity market trends and their impact on expected profitability at project/portfolio level
- Analyse energy offtake structures and make recommendations on the most adequate option for specific projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, industrial engineering, or a similar field
- MBA or Masters is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in finance within the solar energy sector
- Strong cash flow modelling capabilities required
- Knowledge of electricity market/regulations and financing infrastructure advantageous
- Good MS Office Excel and macro-programming skills (Visual Basic programming is a plus)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Analytical skills, structural thinking, willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus
