Position Summary The Financial Analyst partners with leaders across the organization to provide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role develops financial models, analyzes business performance, improves reporting processes, and delivers actionable insights that drive profitability and growth. Essential Functions Develop, maintain, and analyze annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial plans to support business objectives. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate revenue, expenses, profitability, capital investments, and strategic initiatives. Support the monthly financial close by analyzing income statement performance, key business metrics, and significant variances from budget and forecast. Prepare financial analyses and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and other departments to provide financial guidance, evaluate business performance, and support informed decision-making. Analyze product, program, customer, and business unit profitability, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance. Support pricing decisions and business development efforts through financial analysis and modeling. Track, analyze, and report capital expenditures and internal investment projects. Develop and maintain dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), executive reports, and presentations that communicate financial performance and business insights. Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, business processes, and internal controls. Support financial systems enhancements, reporting automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with financial due diligence, modeling, and integration activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field 2–5 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis Strong understanding of financial statements and performance metrics Experience with budgeting and forecasting preferred Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (Epicor a plus) Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR restrictions.
