THE OPPORTUNITY:

EfficiencyOne is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Infrastructure team for maternity leave coverage. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and delivering financial insights to support the organization’s goals. This role is also responsible for coordinating and completing reporting for key stakeholders, including government bodies.

Responsibilities
  • Support monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting process by preparing estimates, reports, and financial analysis.
  • Assist with planning functions, including the Demand Side Management planning process.
  • Prepare financial materials and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate, review, and submit quarterly and annual financial reports to various levels of government. Develop financial models, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and support special projects as needed.
  • Manage invoicing and accounts receivable, including preparing and submitting invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding accounts.
  • Support other finance and procurement activities as required.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to financial planning and reporting processes.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, leadership, and external partners via email, phone, and in person.
