THIS IS A 12 MONTH TEMPORARY FULL TIME POSITION WITH POTENTIAL TO BE EXTENDED.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Financial Analyst Supervisor to provide crucial support in the areas of financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and cash management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to drive informed business decisions.
Responsibilities:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES

  • 5 – 7 years experience in general accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Related experience preferably in a construction or oilfield environment. Equivalencies based on education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Financial Analyst Supervisor in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
  • Perform cash management tasks, including cash flow analysis and forecasting for business needs.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial projections, and long-term financial planning.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the optimization of financial systems and processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
