With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy. About the role. The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in managing and delivering the North American SCA commitment. This role is accountable for understanding the project level details, while providing a consolidated view of how SCA flows through the NA P&L – with clarity on how savings are achieved through cost standards, planned variances or other. Working closely with functional workstream leads, and Finance business partners, this role drives overall structure and is the central point of contact for NA SCA reporting. The Financial Analyst is responsible for month-end SCA reporting of actual results, quarterly SCA forecasting, leading monthly cross-functional SCA calls with finance and functional workstream partners, identifying opportunities and risks in the SCA pipeline, and ensuring breakdowns and challenges are being called out and actioned. This position works collaboratively with others, institutes best practices, and challenges the acceptance of status quo demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement in SCA. What you’ll be doing. Quantification of SCA projects, which are vital for McCain to achieve financial goals Build models for efficient calculation of various projects Assist individuals in Finance, Operations and Supply Chain with recording savings Conduct variance analyses and understand why projects are over/under performing their initial forecast Assist with reforecasting project savings Collective knowledge of SCA work streams within overall North America SCA, track progress and ensure executional excellence Reporting on month-end results Assisting with quarterly forecasting and annual budget of SCA savings What you’ll need to be successful. Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain High level of knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and PowerBi; Understanding of relational databases and report writers is desirable Prior experience working with tight deadlines and demonstrated responsibility for accuracy and timeliness for work performed Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; Must be able to convey information in a clear, focused, and concise manner Experience with CPG or other food manufacturing companies preferred Must be a self-starter with ability to manage responsibilities proactively Deep interest in finance, cost management, budgeting and reporting Ability to work cross functionally with team of individuals About McCain. CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
