Overview Position: Financial Analyst - Consumer Direct Location: U.S. Remote Salary range: starting at $100K depending on experience + full time benefits Position Summary: The Financial Analyst works as a liaison between Corporate Finance and Consumer Direct Sales stakeholders to perform a variety of planning and analysis activities with the goal of driving optimal bottom line results. Activities include budgeting, forecasting, building, financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with the close process. The Analyst prepares a quantitative analysis of business operations and ad-hoc projects while concisely summarizing key trends for management. Responsibilities Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports Analyze financial data and create models for decision support Analyze previous budgets and forecasts and perform variance analysis to explain discrepancies Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews Analyze past results, perform analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements Guide the analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools Experience Creating Early warning indicators for branches that are underperforming New Branch Set Up – proforma development, approval, and monitoring Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) + years’ experience in Finance or other relevant experience. Strong analytical and financial modeling experience. Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills to communicate with management and leadership. Strong fluency with Excel formulas and Functions. Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations. Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management. Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow. Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently. Strong Financial Acumen – P&L, Finance/Accounting background Relationship builder – Corporate stakeholders and branch Process oriented – leverages financial insights to drive innovation Retail Mortgage Experience, preferably with Consumer Direct (Call Center) Mortgage Operations highly preferred.
