SUMMARY

If you are interested in supporting the US Navy in the delivery of state of the art craft in a role that involves meaningful and challenging projects - MSCorp has a great opportunity for you.
MSCorp supports the Navy as a prime contractor for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) and the PMS 317 Amphibious Assault and Connectors group. The NSWC PCD team supports the Landing Craft Division as In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for both the LCAC and LCAC 100 Class Landing Craft and Ship Interface support.
Full-time position providing financial support. In this role, you will serve as a member of our team providing financial program support, working directly with the customer and, other financial team members. Work location is on NSWC PCD.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of ten year’s professional experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams
  • Familiar with NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) and ERP is a plus
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, Strong initiative and commitment to deadlines, above average computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, well organized and flexible
  • Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong decision-making ability and attention to detail
  • Education: Associate Degree in Accounting
    Licenses/Certifications: Please provide any.
    Travel: No travel is currently anticipated.
    Citizenship/Clearance: U.S. Citizenship/Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance

Responsibilities

Financial Management and Program Support.:

  • Support budget formulation based on historical data and administration by collecting and organizing work packages, monthly financial reporting to sponsors, and entering data into Government financial systems.
  • Conduct analysis and provided recommended technical solutions for enhancing project management and finances
  • Prepare and analyze weekly internal financial reports from Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system reports
  • Provide periodic (at least monthly) updates to project planning data bases
  • Update project plans with actual cost data to support earned value metric reports and actual versus spend plan reports for NSWC PCD management
  • Monitor cost expenditures, activities undertaken, and progress towards completion of work and report progress
