This position will report to the VP of FP&A. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting companywide performance by providing thoughtful in-depth analysis on financial performance, creating working dashboards which generate valuable insights, providing consistent and accurate reporting on KPIs, assisting with daily and monthly cash forecasting, and supporting the revenue cycle and accounting teams.  This position will be located on-site at the corporate office in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. We retain the right to modify or change the essential and additional functions of the job at any time.   * Provide thoughtful analysis and explanations of variances and trend reporting to management team * Develop, analyze and report KPIs, dashboards and other performance indicators on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis * Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting and analysis on key metrics * Build ad hoc analysis and communication for strategic Operations and Finance initiatives * Build packets and presentations for monthly and ad hoc meetings  * Build generates, and analyze revenue cycle reports * Work cross-functionally with various departments to analyze data that drives action * Develop charts, graphs, and numerical reports to articulate financial and statistical data * Assists other department team members on data requests and larger projects as needed * Other duties as assigned    QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Required Education and Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.  Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.    Preferred Experience: * 2 -4 years of financial analysis experience, preferably within the healthcare industry  * Athena Health EMR experience  * Experience in building dashboards    Required Skills: * Advanced Excel skills * Able to manage multiple on-going tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy * Excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting and analytical skills * Excellent communication skills * Strong work ethic and a positive attitude with the ability to work independently * Comfortable working with large data sets to distill valuable insights   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities   JOB ELEMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.   * Occasionally required to walk; stand; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.   * Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 10 pounds.   * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
