DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role is responsible for interpreting complex financial agreements and ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely royalty and transfer pricing calculations. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Tax, Business Development, and Finance teams to execute contracts and support strategic decision-making.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Other is required.
  • Ability to analyze, summarize and interpret calculations and contracts while navigating the finite details of the process and data sources and yet provide concise explanations to senior leadership, auditors, and business partners.
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to communicate cross functionally with peers and management.
  • Requires strong proficiency in Excel and SAP (or similar ERP system) and a preference in having experience with crystal reports (or similar reporting software).
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and exposure to legal contracts and the budgeting/forecasting process
  • Must possess comprehensive understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP)
Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Interpret and execute royalty and transfer pricing agreements by partnering with Business Development and Tax teams. Translate executed agreements into accurate, complete, and compliant financial calculations aligned with internal reporting standards.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly royalty and transfer pricing calculations for budget, forecast and actual reporting, identifying any variances and resolving issues as needed.
  • Prepare account reconciliations for liability and asset accounts, as well as process check requests for liabilities, and post adjustments to asset account based on contract schedule.
  • Maintain existing tracking tools and reporting processes for royalties and transfer pricing while working to continuously improve the quality of the data, drive consistency and efficiency in reporting.
  • Communicate changes in calculation methodologies or new scenarios to internal stakeholders across various levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive relationship with the royalty partners to ensure compliance with contracts and deliver a high level of service.
  • Ensure all paper and electronic royalty documentation is organized to department standards and following the corporate Record Retention Policy
  • Monitor and track inventory balances related to agreements to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
