Description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst & Project Manager who will provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across finance and sales driven projects. This role involves financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, with a focus on improving financial performance and operational efficiency. They work closely with the Director of Billing, Director of Credit, Controller, and CFO to develop and provide reporting and analytics from internal financial systems. They will train under the existing Product Managers to learn internal proprietary Laserfiche systems and will work closely with all finance system users to gather insights and understanding about the integrity of data collection and make suggestions to improve data cleanliness, as required. They will partner with Finance Leadership and ITS to procure and implement commission software and any other finance software needs that are identified as the Company and Finance department evolve.

ABOUT YOU – ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance, Economics, Accounting, business management, or related field
  • Project Management certification or previous project management experience preferred
  • Experience in software-as-a-service
  • 5+ years of proven experience as Financial Analyst & Project Manager
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting systems and financial principles
  • Proven business acumen to facilitate Company discussions surrounding financial reporting requests and finance system requests; ability to align data analysis for finance and sales strategies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – able to work effectively across all departments and with global partners
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Keen sense of urgency with ability to juggle multiple projects; ability to treat system requirements/improvements with appropriate sense of urgency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ie pivot tables, financial modeling, VLOOKUP, etc), Word, QB, and knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (ie PowerBi); knowledge of SQL and other data manipulation tools is highly desirable
  • Great attitude; team player
  • Analytical, proactive, solution-oriented, self-motivated with ability to exercise sound judgement in prioritizing tasks and making business decisions
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, track, manage and execute identified projects, meet deadlines and milestone deliverables

The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and years of experience amongst other factors.

  • $90,000 - $135,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Master understanding and use of all finance systems, to include but not limited to Zuora, Salesforce, POMS, Laserfiche Forms, Concur, QuickBooks, etc
  • Develop dashboards Power BI, Salesforce and other existing systems, as well as prepare reports to assist with strategy development around financial performance, sales retention, product margin, commission, and budget to actual performance
  • Collaborate with various teams that use Finance systems to clarify user demands, business needs and suggest system modifications as needed to improve data integrity
  • Perform all-encompassing assessment of information obtained from various systems and sources, resolve discrepancies and compartmentalize information into data sets ready for analysis
  • Conduct detailed analysis of various financial data sets to identify trends, anomalies, variances and strategic opportunities
  • Manage Strategic Projects to develop timelines and provide on-time deliverables as needed to support overarching Project Roadmap for Company
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development team to develop and provide training to Sales teams, respective supporting teams, and external business partners as needed, regarding CPQX and OMS, to capture accurate data for detailed analysis
  • Project manage and lead high-risk and complex programs/projects (ie commission software implementation), while maintaining ability to perform Analyst functions when necessary
  • Control project quality and success by actively managing issues and the decision process, assessing risks, initiating and tracking change requests, and meeting schedules and deadlines for deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and vendors to establish and maintain effective communication channels with sponsors, steering committees, and other project stakeholders
  • Lead development initiatives with Commerce Platform and BTO teams to create and execute workflows and data dashboards, and to identify and suggest system improvements to financial processes and systems to optimize efficiency and improve data accuracy
  • Update or suggest modifications to finance policies, and procedural manual for all Finance systems and partner with L&D to provide training to all system users
  • Calculate monthly commissions and collaborate with Finance and Sales teams on development of future year commission plans
  • Earn LF Gold Certification and/or train under LF Forms Product Manager to gain knowledge and system fluency to create, modify, and maintain LF Finance forms and systems (to include POMS and OMS/Zuora/SF integrated forms)
