Responsibilities The Financial Analyst supports the business by providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and insights to enable informed decision-making. The role partners with business leaders to monitor financial performance, identify trends and risks, and support budgeting and strategic planning activities. Through robust financial analysis, the role contributes to improved business performance and operational efficiency. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses. Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Analyse financial performance and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Develop financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives. Partner with department managers to understand financial performance and provide recommendations. Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators. Support month-end and year-end closing activities as required. Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting requests, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your Job Profile Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline. Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA or equivalent) preferred or working towards certification. Typically 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, controlling or a similar finance role. Experience within a manufacturing or technology environment is advantageous. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar). Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent) preferred. Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
