Do you have five years accounting experience and have your CPA designation? Do you have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to prioritize and work within tight deadlines? If so, we want you on our Financial Services Team!
As the successful candidate as Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting work at a senior level including preparation of financial reports, assisting with budgets and financial monitoring, and completing analysis and reconciliation. This position exercises technical independence and professional analysis within the guidelines of established accounting system practices and municipal accounting standards.
You will:
The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation and a minimum of 5 years’ of related work experience. They will have working knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Board standards and generally accepted accounting principles, excellent customer service skills, and be proficient in MS office. Experience working with Vadim and GIS is preferred.
This is a full-time CUPE 338 position. The schedule for this position will be 35 hours per week, with standard working days being between Monday and Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. This position has a wage of $54.65 per hour. Please note that a 90% probation wage applies for the 3-month probation period.
